Official Look at the Next Fragment x Nike Dunk High

Original Story (08/11/21): Earlier this year, we saw the release of the fragment design x Nike Dunk High in a Black and Wine colorway, an homage to the “Beijing” pair from the ultra-rare 2010 City Pack. The other two pairs from that pack are also being reinterpreted for a 2021 release, and Fragment’s Hiroshi Fujiwara has shared a look at this year’s “New York” colorway.

While the 2010 Fragment x Nike Dunk High City Pack featured three pairs with mismatching designs across the left and right shoes, the 2021 versions come with symmetrical color schemes. The 2021 version of the “New York” pair opts for a navy and black color scheme based on the right shoe of the 2010 version (the left shoe was a Chicago-esque red, black, and white). No white paneling on the 2021 version, only Midnight Navy on the base and black for the overlays and Swoosh. Like the 2021 “Beijing” pair, this release also features style code markings on the midsole.

Grab a first look at the 2021 fragment design x Nike Dunk High “New York” below. These are slated to release this fall via SNKRS and select retailers.

Update (08/30/21): Official images of the next Fragment x Nike Dunk High are in. According to Fujiwara, this update to the “New York” colorway is now a tribute to the city of Tokyo. These drop in Japan via SNKRS and select retailers on September 5th. No word yet on a global release.

Update (08/30/21): Hiroshi Fujiwara continue to tease the release of the next Fragment x Nike Dunk High, this time with flips on the ads of the OG 1985 Be True To Your School pack. The caption also implies that instead of New York, this colorway is a tribute to Tokyo. Check out the images below:
