This interesting special edition stems from Converse’s Japanese division, and is based upon the quirky 1984 “horror” movie “Gremlins”, famed for its creepy characters that hilariously terrorized the humans of the movie. Seen on this pair of Jack Purcells are two of the more well known Gremlins, Stripe and Gizmo, who appear throughout the upper of these classic kicks in a black, blue and red design giving the 3-d look, which stands out quite boldly against the all-white upper. These have hit shelves in Japan (packaged with 3-d glasses) but there is no news as to when these will, if ever, hit shelves stateside. More photos after the jump.
