For the Spring season, GUESS and FriendsWithYou are releasing an expansive collection that aims to inspire and excite its wearers while promoting a message of global connectivity. At the forefront of the collection is Colombian artist J. Balvin.
In their effort to create pieces that feel exciting and vibrant, the use of embroidery, graphics and special techniques breathe color and life to the assortment. The women’s offerings include t-shirts, a polo and shorts set, cropped sweatshirts, puffer jackets, tracksuits and a matching denim set. Patterns and textures embellish throughout with cloud prints, anime graphics and terry cloth, as well as a very present rainbow color palette. The men’s section consists of t-shirts, button-ups, long sleeves, hoodies and more matching sets, all reflecting the creative direction of the women’s pieces. A variety of watches, backpacks, slides and hats round out the accessories.
The FriendsWithYou campaign, held in partnership by Samuel Borkson and Arturo Sandoval III, takes influence from accessible fashion. The duo hopes to still spread a positive message and straightforward design, while giving everyone a chance to reap the benefits of self-love, community and becoming Friends-With-You. “We believe that together we can create a peaceful and joyful world by celebrating our diversities and commonalities,” says FriendsWithYou founders, Samuel Borkson and Arturo Sandoval III.
