Bombay Sapphire has tapped Chicago’s own Hebru Brantley to design a limited-edition bottle of their London Dry Gin. This is the brand’s first-ever artist-designed bottle.
The company describes Brantley as “one of the preeminent Black creatives at the forefront of culture,” who built a name for himself by doing public art and solo shows internationally. Celebrities like Jay-Z, Lenny Kravitz, George Lucas, LeBron James are all collectors of Brantley’s work.
Brantley has put his signature “Afro-futuristic” touch on this collaboration, with mural-like portraits adorning the front and sides. Brantley’s work is also etched across the bottle’s blue backdrop.
The Bombay Sapphire x Hebru Brantley limited-edition bottle is available for pre-order now on Reserve Bar’s website (shipping limited to Illinois, Florida, and New York) with profits from the launch benefiting Black Lives Matter Chicago. Please drink responsibly.
