Hiroshi Fujiwara Drops fragment design Beats Flex Earphones

Beats by Dre has a knack for infusing streetwear style into its products. Following a collaboration with Samuel Ross on the A-COLD-WALL* x Beats Studio3, the headphone company is now reconnecting with Hiroshi Fujiwara on a pair of limited-edition fragment design Beats Flex earphones.

This is the second time this year the Japanese streetwear icon has put his touch on a Beats By Dre product, following the fragment design Powerbeats Pro released back in January. The Beats Flex features the same black-on-black color scheme, with FRGMT and thunderbolt branding in white.

“The design inspiration is a continuation of our last collaboration, as I still believe nothing is as sophisticated and refined as the black-on-black colorway,” says Fujiwara. “My personal headphone preference is Beats Flex, as I like the lightweight neckband for listening to music. I hope people can wear and use this on a daily basis.”

The fragment design x Beats Flex will be available on Thursday, November 18 at 9am PT on apple.com, priced at $69.99 USD. Also available at select retailers such as SSENSE.
