Stüssy and HUF have teamed up on a “Keith Forever” capsule in loving memory of Keith Hufnagel. The HUF founder and skate legend passed away in 2020 after a battle with brain cancer.
The two-piece capsule includes a black tee that features a photo of Hufnagel catching some air on his skateboard at the Pine St. bump in San Francisco circa 2002. The border of the photo features the phrases “KEITH FOREVER” and “WAIT WHAT!? 20 YEARS OF HUF” in Stüssy’s signature font. The latter nods to the 20 year anniversary of the opening of the first HUF store in San Francisco in 2002.
The tee is accompanied by a New Era fitted cap with “NY” on the front and “KEITH FOREVER” on the back. While HUF started in San Francisco, Keith Hufnagel was originally from New York City and came of age in NYC’s skating scene in the 1980s.
The HUF x Stüssy “Keith Forever” capsule launches this Friday, May 27th. The tee will be available in-store at HUF LA, HUF SF, and Stüssy NY, while the New Era Cap will be available exclusively at Stüssy NY.
