While the J. Cole x PUMA “RS-Dreamer” was only first unveiled late last month, it’s since been coming in fast and furious with new colorways.
Last week saw the reveal of the “Blood, Sweat, and Tears” colorway, and we now have two additional incoming styles of the shoe for the ongoing NBA and WNBA seasons. The “Concrete Jungle” edition of the shoe is inspired by the street courts that the RS-Dreamer is designed to shine on. Jordan III comparisons are somewhat inevitable, as the model makes use of a similar grey-and-black speckled pattern on the midsole and is accented by soft grey suedes, a primarily white upper, and flashes of bright red.
The “Purple Heart” colorway, on the other hand, takes heavy inspiration from the Lakers’ color scheme and is designed to “remind you to always dream big.” The model uses a primarily purple upper with black accents, and the Dreamer’s ProFoam midsole comes streaked with an eye-catching greenish-yellow flash. While both colorways have been seen in action on the feet of PUMA Hoops athletes, the “Purple Heart” edition of the shoe is set to continue its debut on the feet of both Kyle Kuzma and Danny Green.
Both the “Concrete Jungle” and “Purple Heart” editions of the J. Cole x PUMA RS-Dreamer release on Friday, August 21st at 9am CT via Footlocker.com, Puma’s website, and select physical locations of each respective store worldwide. The model is priced at $125 USD.
