J.Crew and New Balance have been releasing collaborations together since 2010. To celebrate the 10 year anniversary of their partnership, the two add a new collaboration to the list.
The “10th Anniversary” J.Crew-exclusive 997 features tonal grey suede uppers with a subtle embossed “N” logo. This color was chosen since a 10th anniversary is traditionally marked with tin. The shoe also features an embroidered “X” on the heel (the Roman numeral for 10, as well as a symbol of collabs), a co-branded footbed, and 3M speckled laces. The pair also comes in a commemorative shoe box.
The J.Crew x New Balance 997 “10th Anniversary” sneaker is available now online via J.Crew for a retail price of $220 USD. The release is limited to 1,000 pairs and will also be available at through 28 select J.Crew locations.
