J.Crew and New Balance have been releasing collaborations together since 2010. After coming together last year for a “10th Anniversary” NB 997, the two continue their long-standing partnership with two colorways of the 997H.
A more streamlined version of the classic 997, the 997H is offered in “Trek” and “Rain Cloud” colorways. The “Trek” features a hiking-inspired color palette, dressed in teal with charcoal grey and pops of orange and purple. The shoe features a mesh toe box and comes with a speckled midsole, a design feature you may find on an ACG release. The “Rain Cloud” pair opts for a more neutral beige color scheme with hits of grey, navy, and orange. This time, the toe box comes dressed in perforated suede. Both feature waterproof Cordura fabric in their construction and sit atop gum rubber outsoles.
