After providing a first look back in June, JJJJound officially announces the release of its Reebok NPC II collab.

Justin Saunders and his Montreal-based design studio JJJJound once again apply their minimalistic approach to another silhouette, the 1985 classic NPC II. The collaboration features an all-white upper, true to the original ’85 shoe designed for the tennis court. However, JJJJound takes a unique approach to the project, creating a wide array of almost indistinguishable iterations through multiple minimal variations.

Some of the pairs produced feature Arctic White leather uppers, while others feature Optic White tumbled leather construction. Sole units come in Ivory, Pearl White, or Marshmallow, while the terry sockliner comes in either Polar White or Chalk White. Three different tread patterns are also featured throughout the production run. The pairs will be sent out at random and customers are not meant to know which exact pair they will receive. The result is a minimal and modern sneaker that prioritizes light color nuances as a design integrity while staying true to its original identity.

The JJJJound x Reebok NPC II launches on the JJJJound website on Thursday, July 21st at 12pm ET. A global release will follow on August 5th on Reebok.com (12am ET) and at select retailers.
