The Chicago White Sox are hosting Joe Freshgoods Day at Guaranteed Rate Field in honor of the West Side designer and his work in the Chicago community. The team is offering Lower Box seat tickets to this Wednesday’s game against the Pittsburgh Pirates at a special rate, with a portion of sales going to Freshgoods’ Community Goods non-profit. The first 1,400 tickets purchased through this offer also comes with a collector’s edition JFG bobblehead.
Joe Freshgoods is also dropping a new White Sox apparel collection in celebration of JFG Day at Guaranteed Rate Field. The collection is a two-part series that introduces the designer’s Mitchell & Ness partnership and creative direction for the South Side Chi MLB team.
The first drop features hoodies, tees, and shorts made in partnership with Mitchell & Ness with graphics inspired by ’90s nostalgia. The collection also includes JFG Day edition of New Era White Sox fitteds, offered in University Blue, black, gold, and red.
Part 1 of the Joe Freshgoods x Chicago White Sox “JFG Day” collection launches on Tuesday, August 31st in-store at Fat Tiger Workshop and online at noon CT on the Joe Freshgoods website.
