Original Story (02/17/22): After much speculation, Joe Freshgoods reveals his 2022 New Balance collaboration.
The collaboration is titled “Inside Voices” and features the new 9060 silhouette. The teaser image shared by Joe on his Instagram reveals the heel-end of the shoe, which features “JFG” branding near the ankle and “Inside” and “Voices” across each heel. Colors used include tan, grey, clay green, and orange. This appears to be the same shoe Joe was spotted wearing during Paris Fashion Week.
Look for the Joe Freshgoods x New Balance 9060 “Inside Voices” to release in the coming month via the JFG website, New Balance website, and select retailers. Stay tuned to Modern Notoriety for updates.
Joe Freshgoods x New Balance 9060 “Inside Voices”

Update (05/07/22): Joe Freshgoods has revealed the second colorway of his “Inside Voices” 9060. Joe has nicknamed this colorway “Baby Shower Blue” and will be the JFG-exclusive colorway. The other colorway is called “Penny Cookie Pink,” nodding to Funsnax frosted strawberry cookies which could be purchased at candy houses in Chicago’s South and West Sides in the ’90s for something like a quarter a bag.

Update (04/27/22): Following the launch of the “Conversations Amongst Us” collection, Joe Freshgoods resumes the rollout for his “Inside Voices” New Balance 9060. The Chicago-based designer has shared an in-hand look on Instagram with the caption “2 weeks.” Check out the new photos below.
