There has been much speculation about what Joe Freshgoods’ next collaboration with New Balance will be. Early rumors indicated that we would be getting two colorways of a JFG x New Balance 993, though that may not be the case. Instead, we may be getting a new silhouette, the 9060.
The Chicago designer was spotted rocking an orange pair of New Balance 9060s while out in Paris for fashion week, specifically at the presentation of Virgil Abloh’s final collection with Louis Vuitton. This orange is a similar hue that dresses one of the two shoe boxes that Joe shared on his Instagram earlier this month. The 9060 silhouette itself was leaked in late 2021, featuring similarities to the 990 series and the 860 model, though with a chunkier overall shape.
If these are Joe’s next New Balance collab, expect them to drop this April on the New Balance website and at select retailers. Check out the on-feet shots below for now and stay tuned to Modern Notoriety for additional updates.
