Jordan 23 Engineered, the forward-thinking, technical sportswear side of Jordan Brand, has introduced a print-heavy collection for FW20 that’s heavily inspired by search and rescue teams.
The collection’s flagship piece, a formidable 2-in-1 all-over print parka, uses a detachable (and individually wearable) quilted liner to form a capable and memorable piece to carry you through a plethora of conditions. A keyring loop and packable hood provide small technical details reminiscent of the NikeLab ACG days of old, and the swirling grey/silver/black print on the jacket’s shell is entirely reflective under bright lights at night.
A pullover fleece hoodie uses what first appears to be the same print to the collection’s parka, but upon further examination showcases an aerial view of snow-covered (or perhaps lunar) mountains and ridges below a grid pattern. The hoodie has a nylon hood and thick pockets for further protection, and its pattern uses a similar reflectivity to the parka.
A set of two tees and a pair of printed cargo pants round out the collection. You can take a look at the pieces from the new Jordan 23 Engineered “Search and Rescue” collection down below, and nearly all of it is available now via Nike’s website.
