The Quai 54 World Streetball Championship is back in 2022. The Jordan Brand-sponsored event takes place annually in Paris, with this year’s tournament taking place on July 9th and 10th at the Eiffel Tower. Ahead of the festivities, Quai 54 has shared a few sneak peeks at a new Jordan x Quai 54 collection of apparel and footwear, including a new Jordan retro.
This year’s collection, like previous years, draws inspiration from West African culture. Throughout the collection we see unique patterns on dark indigo fabric, influenced by traditional West African patterns and oilcloth dyeing techniques. Apparel styles include tees, jerseys, basketball shorts, hoodies, and a women’s dress.
On the footwear side, we have a first look at the Quai 54 x Air Jordan 7. It features an indigo nubuck upper with red accents, paired with a white midsole and grey outsole. There is also a slight glimpse of a Quai 54 x Air Jordan 1 that features white leather overlays, a pinstripe pattern on the collar, and a red co-branded tongue tag. Rounding out the collection is the Quai 54 x Jordan Luka 1.
