Original Story (03/23/22): Zion Williamson has been receiving some flak as his recovery from his foot surgery has taken him out for the rest of the NBA season. Some wonder if the first overall pick in the 2019 draft will ever live up to his expectations. Last night, the New Orleans Pelicans star put some of those qualms to rest by posting a video on his IG story of him performing an explosive between the legs dunk. In this video, Zion is wearing his next signature shoe, the Jordan Zion 2.
Shortly following the release of this video, sneaker leakers have begun to share their first looks at the follow-up to the Jordan Zion 1. Photos posted by apolloluo1976 reveal the upcoming model in a mostly white colorway with a multi-colored design on the tongue, ankle, and heel area. The overall silhouette is vastly different from the Zion 1, having an almost old school ’90s era feel to it.
