Kader Sylla, the newest member of the adidas skate team, debuts his first signature colorway on the adidas Superstar ADV. The Los Angeles-based skateboarder, only 19 years old, has quickly become a prominent figure in skateboarding, making waves influencing the current skate scene with sponsorships from Baker and Supreme.
Kader’s version of the Superstar comes in a triple black colorway, incorporating premium tumbled leather upper and pony hair details on the stripes and heel. This skater-centric collaboration also features a re-engineered base with adidas ADV technology improving durability and board feel. Kader’s name embossed in gold on the side panel adds a personal touch to the design.
“Having my name on an adidas shoe is crazy and something I’ll still be proud of 50 years from now,” says Kader Sylla. “I hope people are happy wearing my shoes and I hope kids are inspired to know what is possible through skateboarding.”
The Kader Sylla x adidas Superstar will be available for purchase starting March 5th via adidas.com, retailing for $100 USD.
