What started as the #WESTDAYEVER has become the #WESTWEEKEVER. Kanye West’s latest revival on social media has brought with it some amazing news, i.e. YZY x GAP and the Kids See Ghosts animated series reveal. It has also brought new music: a new song and video called “Wash Us In The Blood” featuring Travis Scott.
This song is the first single off of Kanye West’s forthcoming album God’s Country. Along with Travis, West teamed up with video artist and cinematographer Arthur Jafa on the project. Jafa, who designed the cover artwork and directed the video, previously released “Love is the Message, The Message is Death” in 2016, a video montage set to Ultralight Beam about the Black experience in America. This new video features the same themes and style as Jafa’s previous work.
