KAWS x sacai x Nike Blazer Low Collection Release Date

Chitose Abe’s sacai has had a wide range of collaborators in the past year, teaming up with the likes of A.P.C., ACRONYM, and Jean Paul Gaultier, just to name a few. The Japanese fashion label also announced a team-up with the artist KAWS back in March, consisting of collaborative apparel and special colorways of the sacai x Nike Blazer Low. While the apparel released earlier this year, the release of the Blazers has been kept under wraps, until now.

KAWS, sacai, and Nike have officially announced the release of their Blazer Low collaboration. There are four colorways in total: Team Red, Neptune Blue, Purple Dusk, and Reed. Each features Abe’s doubled-up design, equipped with double Swooshes, tongues, and laces. The wrapping of the midsole is also double-layered, with KAWS’s legendary “XX” motif lasered onto the lateral forefoot. The colors chosen by KAWS for these releases are inspired by the artist’s series of works, URGE.

The KAWS x sacai x Nike Blazer Low will release in two waves. The first one, consisting of the “Team Red” and “Neptune Blue” colorways, will pre-release on Friday, November 26th on kawsone.com and via raffle on sacai.jp, followed by a SNKRS release on November 27th. The “Reed” (KAWSONE and sacai exclusive) and “Purple Dusk” colorways will be available on kawsone.com and sacai.jp on Thursday, December 9th, followed by a SNKRS release of the “Purple Dusk” on December 10th.
