New York-based artist Brian Donnelly, professionally known as KAWS, has been a major force in the streetwear scene since the founding of his now-defunct OriginalFake label in the mid ’00s. Following collaborations with the likes of Human Made, sacai x Nike, and CDG SHIRT in 2021, KAWS kicks off 2022 with the reveal of an upcoming project with The North Face.

KAWS took to Instagram this morning to share a look at two TNF Mountain Jackets that are part of this collaboration. The first one comes in a two-toned black and grey camo pattern with bright red hits on the shoulders and KAWS signature “XX” branding on the right chest. The second one features the same design, though now in a purple/pink color scheme and black color blocking on the shoulders. These are likely just a small sample of a larger collection created in partnership with the outdoor brand.

Grab a first look at the KAWS x The North Face collaboration below. Expect a release later this year on KAWSONE.com and The North Face’s website. Stay tuned to Modern Notoriety for updates.
