Original Story (07/02/21): Brooklyn-based, woman-owned KCDC has been serving its local skate community since 2001. To celebrate the shop’s 20th anniversary this year, KCDC is teaming up with Nike SB on a commemorative Dunk High.
This SB Dunk High comes dressed in all pink, the same color as the brick walls of KCDC’s 3rd St. outpost. A bubblegum pink suede is used for the base, while a softer pink hue is used for the overlays. Contrasting black accents are used on the leather Swooshes and sockliners, as well as on the laces, tongue tags, heel tabs, and midsoles. Additional features include “KCDC 2001” branding on the tongue tags, KCDC logos on the heel pull tabs, and playful graphics on the mismatching pink and green insoles.
