Following collaborations with the likes of A-COLD-WALL*, fragment design, and Stüssy, Beat by Dre is now tapping Kerwin Frost for a collaboration on the Beats Studio³.
The multi-hyphenate’s twist on the wireless noise-cancelling headphones, which he dubs “Cosmophones,” comes in navy blue and is covered in outer space-themed cartoon style illustrations. Stars are found throughout the design, with a large yellow one with a face on it found near the right ear. The ear cups also feature planet designs, Earth on the left and Saturn on the right. Lastly, we see an abstract depiction of Kerwin on the top of the headband.
This is not Kerwin’s first project with Beats by Dre. Last year, Kerwin unveiled furry Beats Pros headphones he designed in blue and green colorways. These were extremely limited, only 10 made, with a couple raffled off for charity at ComplexCon. Stars such as Bella Hadid and Lil Uzi Vert have been seen rocking the Furry Beats.
