Original Story (07/06/20): Ronnie Fieg and Kith have always done a great job at creating vintage 90’s and early 2000’s aesthetics. Fieg is now adding to the nostalgia by teaming up with Looney Tunes for a capsule starring Bugs Bunny.
Fieg’s street fashion label, which recently celebrated the grand opening of its Tokyo flagship location, has produced many highly sought-after collaborations and releases throughout the years. This Bugs Bunny capsule shouldn’t be too surprising; Fieg teamed up with Disney on a capsule celebration of Mickey Mouse just last year.
Although very little details have been announced, the teaser images show a Bugs Bunny plush doll outfitted in Kith apparel and a top hat. Since it’s Bugs Bunny’s 80th birthday on July 27th, we can expect to see a release later this month via Kith.com. Stay tuned to Modern Notoriety for updates.
Update (07/08/20): Following the initial teasers, Ronnie Fieg has officially announced a full Kith x Looney Tunes collection in celebration of Bugs Bunny’s 80th birthday. Check out the recently revealed plush collection and a pic of a Kith “Toon Squad” tee below. A Looney Tunes Converse Chuck 70 was also unveiled. The full lookbook will be up later today.
