Following a preview in Kith’s Summer 2021 campaign, the NYC-based label reveals its full Kith Classics Program in partnership with adidas Originals. The collection includes reimagined versions of six footwear models which include the Samba OG, Campus 80s, Country, Gazelle, Superstar, and Pro Model.
The collection takes a rather minimal approach by retaining key original elements of each model and reimagining them through the Kith lens. The upper of all styles consists of a high-quality leather with pigskin suede stripes on the lateral sides, where gold foil Kith Classics branding replaces the specific model’s name. Co-branding appears on the heels, with a Kith classic logo on the left shoe and the iconic adidas Trefoil branding on the right. Co-branding is also found on the tongues and highlights the introduction year of each silhouette. A vintage cream sole rounds out each model and lastly, special packaging depicts the iconic Three Stripes with a Kith and adidas Trefoil logo on the side.
Kith Classics for adidas Originals releases this Friday, June 25th at all Kith shops, 11AM ET on Kith.com, and 11AM CET on EU.Kith.com. All styles retail for $100 USD, save for the Pro Model which retails for $110 USD. Sizes range from 4 – 13.
