With the fall season underway, brands and designers are gearing up to present their colder weather collections. Kith takes front and center with a massive 108-style Fall 1 and Fall Classics collection that commemorates the brand’s 10-year anniversary. Included in the range are pieces created in collaboration with Russell Athletic, Medicom Toy, Kangol, New Era, and Clarks Originals.
The Fall 1 component of the collection features thirty silhouettes from Kith’s decade-long history. Each gets updated fabrication and comes dressed in a hue from the 30-color Kith Palette, creating a gradient throughout the entire offering. Pieces range from overcoats and varsity jackets to cargo pants and zip shirts.
The Classics Program, seasonally revamped in-house, is for the first time created in partnership with another brand, calling on Russell Athletics to co-design the staple silhouettes. Applying the same approach as Fall 1, the offering dabbles in Kith’s archive, taking the best Classics silhouettes and dresses them in the Kith Palette. Pieces include fleeces, hoodies, crewnecks, sweatsuits and t-shirts. Rounding out the selection is Kith’s corduroy slippers, reimagined in the palette colors. Each style is adorned with Kith for Russell Athletic embroidered patch, seen on duo’s previous three collaborations.
New York Yankees New Era 9Twenty caps, beanies, ear flap caps, four scarves, Willet Marbled socks and lifestyle goods comprise the accessories. Also included is a selection of Bearbricks, marking the partnership with Medicom Toy, coming in 100%, 400% and 1000% versions. Kangol contributes six colorways of the Classic Casual Bucket hat.
To end with footwear, Ronnie Fieg and Clarks Originals are joining the commemorations with a second 8th St offering. Along with new colorways of the Lockhill and Sandford models, the Breacon and Radlett make their first appearance. The Radlett fulfills a classy design, creating a Chelsea boot hybrid, while the Breacon takes after the “Bullet” from the retired World of Niche brand. Fieg places debossed branding on the heel and packaging is custom, complete with special shoe trees and dust bags.
