Two months ago, Kith made an announcement surrounding of inclusion and diversity efforts for the upcoming year. Now, they’re partnering with the Christopher Wallace Estate to release their second Kith x Notorious B.I.G. collection, donating the proceeds in the process.

Though there aren’t any specifics yet regarding the capsule itself, the brand hopes to reach beyond B.I.G.’s musical impact. Kith founder Ronnie Fieg, alongside Chief of People Sharifa Murdock and B.I.G.’s kids CJ and T’yanna Wallace, met and connected with six principals who outlined their school’s biggest needs. “It’s one step of many that we can take towards fostering a better and stronger unified community,” said Fieg in an Instagram post.

The proceeds of the collection will be used to supply six Brooklyn schools (Dr. Ronald E. McNair Public School 5, Research & Service High School, Stephen Decatur Middle School 35, Crispus Attucks Elementary Public School 21, Madiba Prep Middle School, and MS 267 – Math, Science & Technology.), providing books, technology, software, furniture, food and more, in hopes of spreading B.I.G.’s “positive impact to the future generations of his home borough.”

Expect the Kith x Notorious B.I.G. collection to drop March 9th, same as last year’s release, paying tribute to the anniversary of the artist’s death.
