Following yesterday’s IG announcement post, Ronnie Fieg has now unveiled the upcoming Kith x New Balance 1300 collaboration, and it’s coming very, very soon.
The collaboration includes two different 1300 models, the classic 1300 (which is celebrating its 35th anniversary this year) and the RC1300, a model that made its debut earlier this year with issues from New Balance’s Tokyo Design Studio. The new model features a sporty, split sole unit that features ENCAP REVEAL and ABZORB technology within the midsole.
These are dubbed the “Mauve Sole” and come dressed in a two-toned grey and robin egg blue, with each in an inverse color-blocking of the other. The release marks the first time Fieg has worked on the 1300 model since the “Salmon Sole” in 2012. The salmon-colored insoles on this latest iteration may even be a nod to that previous collab.
The Kith x New Balance 1300 & RC1300 “Mauve Sole” arrive this Monday, August 24th at Kith locations and online (10 am Central Time) as part of the latest installment of Kith’s Monday Program.
