Kith’s New Tokyo Flagship Opens This Weekend

World-renowned fashion and sneaker retailers Kith are set to open their ninth location in Tokyo, Japan.

The company has shared pictures of the breathtaking interior of the shop (designed in collaboration with Daniel Arsham’s Snarkitechture firm.) Retail displays are characteristically minimal, well-lit, and extremely polished. While all Kith flagships involve a display of white casts of a Jordan 1, this store is special; inspired by founder Ronnie Fieg’s hunt for Japanese-exclusive Air Force 1s, this store features an impressive display of multicolor cast AF1 lows.

Interior displays include a tower of Kith collaborative sneakers, a vaulted ceiling marked and backlit by white Air Force 1 casts, marble benches and floor detailing, and luxe free-standing display cases. While the first floor is akin to Kith’s traditional retail experience, the upper floor features Kith Kids products and a diner-inspired Kith Treats bar serving cereal, ice cream, and coffee. Notably, however, the store’s apparel offerings will be exclusively in-line Kith; that is, all apparel will be limited to Kith’s private label clothing or collaborative releases. The store will, however, offer footwear from other brands. Kith will also release a Japan-exclusive Air Force 1 to commemorate the store’s opening.

The all-new Kith Tokyo store will open this Saturday, July 4th, at 11AM. The store is located at Miyashita Park North 1st & 2nd Floor, No. 10800, 6-20-10 Jingumae Shibuya-ku, Tokyo 150-0001 Japan, and will be open from 11AM-9PM daily.
