It seems like every major sneaker brand is launching its own foam-based clog model nowadays. However, smaller, independent brands are also hopping on the wave. Indiana-based streetwear brand Kitowares, known for its “Mother Mary” and “Root of All Evil” shoes, is now launching its own foam silhouette dubbed the Fossil-X Jag Runner.
What sets the Jag Runner apart from the competition is its sculpted upper shaped like a jaguar’s skull. “Fossil-X” branding is found on the outsole, which is the name of Kitowares’ trademarked foam technology, which they claim is more durable then materials used in other injection-molded footwear. The name Fossil-X comes from how it’s meant to last forever like a fossil. Kitowares also claims that the Jag Runner is made in Los Angeles in the same factory as YEEZY product.
The Kitowares Fossil-X Jag Runner will be available this Saturday, July 23rd at a pop-up at Bowery Showroom in NYC. The online launch takes place on July 29th at 5pm ET on the Kitowares website. Check out the model below.
