Original Story (05/31/22): It looks like the adidas Crazy 1 will soon be making a return. This shoe is better known as the Kobe 1, released in 2000 as Kobe Bryant’s second signature shoe with the Three Stripes. It was later renamed to the Crazy 1 after Kobe Bryant left adidas and joined team Nike. The All-Star “Sunshine” colorway is expected to make its return soon, though the OG “Metallic Silver” colorway is also on the way.

This adidas Crazy 1 features a metallic silver molded upper designed to look like the Audi TT Roadster. Unlike previous retro releases of this colorway, the 2022 version features the hits of yellow on the heels seen on the OG release. All other OG details are also included, such as the double foam collar, silver/black split color laces, and Torsion System arch support.

Grab a first look at the 2022 adidas Crazy 1 “Metallic Silver” below. Look for these to drop later this year on adidas.com and at select retailers. Stay tuned to Modern Notoriety for updates.
