The first stage of Sonic The Hedgehog, Green Hill Zone, is one of the most iconic levels in video game history. First making its debut in 1991, Green Hill Zone has now gotten the LEGO treatment, released as a 1,125-piece set.

The Green Hill Zone set was conceived by Viv Grannell, a 24-year-old, UK-based LEGO superfan, who submitted the concept on the LEGO Ideas platform, where it received over the 10,000 votes required from the community to make it a reality. The set is filled with power-ups, rings, obstacles, and other Easter eggs. Character minifigures included are Sonic, Dr. Eggman and his Eggmobile, Crabmeat, and Motobug. Other pieces include a stand for the seven Chaos Emeralds and a spring with Technic lever to launch Sonic into the air. It is also a modular set, so it can be rearranged and/or combined with other LEGO architechture sets.

The LEGO Sonic The Hedgehog Green Hill Zone set is available now on at a retail price of $69.99 USD.
