Original Story (03/06/10): On top of an upcoming collaboration with New Balance, Levi’s has partnered up with Nintendo to bring a collection centered around the beloved Super Mario series. The apparel line will feature characters and objects from the Super Mario video games.
Obviously, denim pieces are the stars of the collection, as a denim jacket comes designed with a variety of character patches and phrases from the game. Red, white, and blue dress up the hoodies and T-shirts, which come equipped with Mario, Princess Peach, and Toad, while the denim tote bag sports Mario snagging a coin from the ‘E’ in “Levi’s”.
The Levi’s x Nintendo “Super Mario” collection is set to release April 1st on the Levi’s webstore and in-store locations. It’s a bit of a wait, so take a closer look at the capsule below and stay tuned to Modern Notoriety for any updates.
Update (04/02/20): Although the Levi’s x Nintendo “Super Mario” collection did release on April 1st, the US will have to wait a while longer to purchase, as COVID-19 has delayed production.
