Li-Ning Presents Erik Ellington Pro “Bruce Lee” Edition

0

In 2021, Li-Ning entered the skate shoe market with a partnership with Erik Ellington. The veteran pro skater and Chinese footwear brand introduced the Li-Ning Erik Ellington Pro, adding to Ellington’s legacy of signature models, following up releases with the likes of Emerica and Supra.

First presented during ComplexCon 2021, the Erik Ellington Pro has received a special makeup in collaboration with the estate of Bruce Lee. This release is inspired by the black shoes and white socks Bruce Lee used to wear to practice Kung-Fu. The shoes are equipped with a black canvas overlay that reads Jun Fan Gung Fu Institute across the toe box, which is the name of the martial arts school that Bruce Lee founded in the early ’60s. These canvas overlays can be torn away, either manually or with excessive wear, to reveal a dragon pattern print on one side and Bruce Lee spelled out on the other. This release is part of a larger Li-Ning Bruce Lee collection that includes a full range of footwear and apparel items.

The Li-Ning Erik Ellington Pro “Bruce Lee” is available now at select retailers such as SSENSE and Sneaker District. Check out the campaign imagery below.
