As a celebration of his lifelong relationship with The Three Stripes, Liam Gallagher has joined forces with adidas Spezial to design a minimalist shoe to be released ahead of his upcoming solo album Why Me? Why Not.
The former Oasis frontman signature sneaker is based on the Padiham SPZL silhouette, giving it a clean and understated look with a cream upper and gum sole unit made with leather and suede. Details include zig-zag edges on the eyestays and Three Stripes, gold foil branding, and Liam’s face on the tongue.
Gallagher was a part of the entire sampling process, with the final shoe being presented to him before a private show in London. That moment was filmed on camera to capture his honest reaction to the shoe. Check out the footage and shots of the sneaker below.
