Original Story (06/20/22): Hall of Famer. 2x WNBA Champion. The list of accolades for Lisa Leslie is long. One of her more notable achievements came on July 30, 2002, when she became the first woman to dunk in a WNBA game. This summer, Nike will be releasing a special “Lisa Leslie” Dunk Low to commemorate the 20th anniversary of the WNBA’s first dunk.
The women’s “Lisa Leslie” Dunk Low comes in a purple, gold, and emerald color scheme inspired the Los Angeles Sparks, the team Leslie played for throughout her WNBA career. Leslie’s jersey number 9 is embroidered on the lateral heel, and the shoe comes with three lace options, including a shiny purple. Rounding out the design is a white midsole and black outsole.
