Louis Vuitton has announced the second drop in their LV² series, a collaborative effort between Louis Vuitton creative director Virgil Abloh (Off-White, Pyrex Vision) and legendary Japanese streetwear designer NIGO (BAPE, Billionaire Boys Club, Human Made).

Similar to the first release, the collection presents a variety of playful ready-to-wear-goods, leather bags and shoes, and tastefully amusing accessories. The pieces aim to reinterpret the London Mod era wardrobe through a lens of Japanese travel, and the collection’s themes reflect NIGO’s formative years in the UK. An enlarged take on Louis Vuitton’s classic Damier check patterning graces the collection’s scarves, ties, and bags, and is turned into an almost tongue-in-cheek graphic element on jackets and both a brown and grey-black suit. Another highlight of the collection is the massive bomber jacket that features an LVMADE graphic of Japan’s Mt. Fuji.

The footwear side of the collection sees Louis Vuitton loafers, hiking boots, and derby shoes with exposed steel toes. The collection also includes a “melting pattern” handbag, a travel duffel, a sacoche, a belt, and more.

You can check out pieces from the collection in the photos down below. The newest Louis Vuitton LV² Pre-Fall 2020 drop launches on Friday, August 28th at Louis Vuitton’s webstore and physical locations worldwide.
