Following a first look at the colorway lineup earlier this month, Louis Vuitton officially announces the release of the LV x Nike Air Force 1 by Virgil Abloh.

The Louis Vuitton iteration of the Air Force 1 was manufactured in Venice, Italy, marking the first time in the AF-1’s 40-year history that the shoe is crafted outside of a Nike factory. The retail release includes the previously revealed nine variations, consisting of two Mids and seven Lows. Variations include White Monogram colorways in Mid and Low form, a black suede Monogram Low, three two-tone styles, a metallic gold iteration, a multi-colored pair that nods to the 2004 “Olympics” Air Force 1, and a Damier Mid edition adorned with graffiti by artist Ghusto Leone.

To celebrate the release, Louis Vuitton is opening an immersive experience at the Green Point Terminal Warehouse in New York City from May 21-31. Open to the public, the exhibition will feature a display of all 47 editions of the Louis Vuitton x Nike Air Force 1 sneaker created by Virgil Abloh before his passing. A number of corresponding installations will take place around NYC and the world.

The Louis Vuitton x Nike Air Force 1 retail editions are priced at 2,000 euro for the Lows and 2,500 euro for the Mids, available in sizes 3.5 to 18. US prices are $2,750 USD for the Lows and $3,450 for the Mids. An online release will take place this June on the Louis Vuitton website, with early access going out now to LV community members.
