Maison Margiela Drops its Own Version of the Air Jordan 4

0

Maison Margiela has released a new (if you want to call it that) footwear model called the 35mm Deadstock Leather Mid-High.

The sneaker is clearly inspired by the Air Jordan 4, and it uses cracked, yellowed, and separated midsoles to pay tribute to (or possibly mock) vintage sneaker culture. While the calf leather paneling has been slightly changed from the Jordan 4—the mudguard is elevated and provides a different toe vamp pattern, the shoe’s cut is slightly different, and the heel is a bit reshaped—the model’s two colorways further cement it as a tribute (or rip-off) of the basketball classic.

The shoe originally dropped in a “Fire Red” color scheme, but is now available in a Bred edition as well. You can shop both the initial colorway and the Bred version of the Maison Margiela 35mm Deadstock Leather Mid-High Sneaker at LUISVIAROMA now. Check out photos of both colorways down below.
