Original Story (06/16/22): Shortly after debuting the project in black, Matthew M Williams now reveals a second colorway of his new Nike silhouette.
The ALYX founder and Givenchy creative director took to Instagram to reveal the clog-like model in grey, also revealing that the silhouette is called the MMW ZOOM 5. As the name suggests, this is the fifth collaborative project between Nike and MMW, a follow-up to the MMW ZOOM 4. Like the previous silhouette, the ZOOM 5 features a squared off toe box, a design cue inspired by brutalist architecture. While the first colorway was completely black, this grey colorway features a two-toned white and beige sole unit with chrome details.
Check out the Nike Zoom MMW 005 “Grey” below. This silhouette is expected to make its debut in the coming months, releasing via ALYX, SNKRS, and select retailers. Stay tuned to MN for further updates.
Update (09/07/22): The Nike Zoom MMW Slide 005 is set to launch this Friday, September 9th on the ALYX website in “Black” and “Light Bone.” A wider release is scheduled for September 23rd on SNKRS and at select retailers. Check out official images of both colorways below.
