Melody Ehsani, LA designer and visionary behind streetwear brand ME, emerges as a new leader in the streetwear industry, earning the title of new Creative Director of Foot Locker Women’s Business. In her role as Creative Director, Ehsani will be designing quarterly apparel capsules, working to heighten female interest in the Foot Locker brand, as well as curating an ongoing selection of Nike and Jordan products.

Having had collaborations with Michelle Obama, Lauryn Hill, Wu-Tang Clan, and Reebok, plus her own Women’s Jordan OG, Melody Ehsani has a deep background in streetwear, making her Foot Locker’s prime candidate for the position. As expressed by Patricia Respress, Vice President and DMM Women’s Footwear and Apparel at Foot Locker, “her diverse background of streetwear knowledge will help elevate our brand and expand our product offering, while driving real cultural impact within our women’s community.”

One week prior to the first capsule release under Ehsani’s leadership, a Melody Ehsani x Foot Locker pop-up shop will give some lucky people the chance to experience and shop the collection before the rest of the world. The exact location will be decided by consumers across the country through a digital crowd-sourcing program.
