Following the reveal by the Los Angeles Angels, the next MLB team to debut their Nike City Connect uniforms for the 2022 season is the Milwaukee Brewers.

The Brewers’ new City Connect look is all about summertime fun in Milwaukee. The Powder Blue color is a nod to Milwaukee’s summer sky, as well as Brewers uniforms of the past. The yellow represents the warmth of the summer sun, while the navy accents symbolize Lake Michigan. The colors are also a tribute to the People’s Flag of Milwaukee, a cherished symbol of the city.

For the first time ever, the Brewers sport “Brew Crew” across their chest, a tribute to the fans who have affectionately used the nickname for generations. There is also a lettermark that combines MKE and 414, the city’s airport abbreviation and area code. The custom typography draws influence from Milwaukee’s industrial roots, though with a modern twist as a nod to the city’s recent cultural renaissance.

Another fun detail is the grill patch on the shoulder. This adds to the summertime vibes and represents how Wisconsinites wait all year for the summer weather to fire up the grill. The grill patch features a baseball stitch design representing the tailgate scene at American Family Field. The final touch is the yellow and white piping on the sleeve, representing a beer’s foam head and the city’s brewing tradition.

The Nike x Milwaukee Brewers City Connect jersey and accompanying fan gear is available for purchase now on, the Nike app, and MLB Shop. The team will debut the jersey on-field on June 24th.
