nanamica, the Japanese label known for its quality-first approach to functional fashion, has teamed up with PUMA on a two-piece sneaker collection.
The first collab between the two brands features the Suede VTG in two colorways, each constructed with waterproof GORE-TEX fabric lining the suede material. One pair comes in “Vintage Khaki” grey, the other in “Parisian Night” navy. Both feature a monotone design with flat laces, co-branded tongue tags, co-branded insoles, and nanamica logos on the heels.
“For our first collaboration with nanamica we wanted to create something that would be instantly recognizable as a partnership between both brands,” says Ayesha Atlee, Head of Design Sportstyle Footwear for PUMA. “We decided to leverage the PUMA Suede because of its timeless design, mixing it with nanamica’s neutral swatches and their signature use of GORE-TEX fabric was a must to accomplish our vision.”
