Late last year, UNDEFEATED and BAPE teamed up on an adidas ZX 8000 as part of the Three Stripes’ A-ZX series. Though the series is now coming to an end, UNDEFEATED returns with another adidas ZX collaboration, this time adding NEIGHBORHOOD to the mix.
NEIGHBORHOOD founder Shinsuke Takizawa shares a first look at this three-way collaboration. Revealed in black and white colorways, this ZX 8000 features a carbon fiber-like mesh construction on the upper with reflective silver panels on the heel and toe box. An UNDEFEATED wordmark runs down the tongue, while UNDEFEATED’s five strike logo and NEIGHBORHOOD branding adorn the heel. The tongues feature a zippered stash pocket, while the sole unit features a type of chain link pattern on the heel end. Each colorway is equipped with a gum bottom outsole.
LA’s UNDEFEATED and Tokyo’s NEIGHBORHOOD are frequent collaborators, having released their “Peace Be With You” SS21 collection earlier this year. Grab a first look at the NEIGHBORHOOD x UNDEFEATED x adidas ZX 8000 below and stay tuned to Modern Notoriety for updates on its release.
