New Balance 327 Launches This Weekend in Three Colorways

0

Original Story (05/02/20): New Balance is rolling out the first three colorways of the 327, a new silhouette inspired by New Balance’s archive of ’70s running models. The 327 was first introduced through a collaboration with Casablanca, which debuted earlier this year on the Paris Fashion week runway and quickly sold out when they dropped on April 18th.

A modern take on of ’70s heritage simplicity, the 327 features an oversized ‘N’ logo inspired by the retro 320, the first New Balance shoe to carry the iconic N logo, as well as the 320’s suede vamp fangs. The studded gum sole and heel wrap is inspired by the 355 trail runner. Nylon construction makes this shoe lightweight and suitable for everyday wear.

The first colorways of the New Balance 327 will be available at global retailers and newbalance.com beginning May 9th for a retail price of $110 USD (men’s) and $90 USD (women’s). Check out the offerings below.

Update (05/09/20): The 327 launched today and sold-out across all retailers. Look for the silhouette to make its return with a MADNESS collab and another Casablanca drop.

Update (05/06/20): Ahead of the launch this weekend, New Balance footwear designer Charlotte Lee has shared a look at some of her sketches and samples showing the design process behind the 327. Check them out in the IG post below:
