After a collaborative release of the 550 with Aimé Leon Dore, New Balance is rolling out three general release color options of the silhouette.
All three of the updated options are dressed predominately in white with a light grey suede mudguard along the toe. Varsity Gold, Burgundy, and Black accents differentiate each pair, the updated color palette drawing inspiration from the original release of the 550 in 1989. These pops of color are found on the N logos, ankle collar, tongue, heel branding, and outsole.
The New Balance 550 in Varsity Gold, Burgundy, and Black will be available in select markets globally on May 7th via the New Balance website (10am ET) and select retailers.
