New Balance will soon be introducing a new sneaker model called the 9060.
The 9060 appears to combine design cues from the New Balance 990 series with elements from the New Balance 860 for a new chunkier silhouette. This is similar to how New Balance beefed up the classic 574 to introduce the 57/40, a more modern take on a New Balance heritage design. On the 9060, we see sharp angles incorporated into the design, from the pointy toe box to the obtuse triangle-shaped tongue badge to the diamonds on the outsoles. This is contrasted by the wavy lines that make up the shape of the midsole and other parts of the shoe.
Check out early photos of the New Balance 9060 in a few different colorways below, as well as a glimpse of some unseen 550 colorways. Expect these to launch in 2022 via NewBalance.com and select retailers.
