New Balance has officially announced the in-line launch of the 9060, following the silhouette’s debut with a Joe Freshgoods collab earlier this year.
The design of the 9060 draws influence from the 99x series, the visible tech-led aesthetic of the early 2000s, and the brand’s performance running heritage. These inspirations are then filtered through a more modern lens with features such as a more exaggerated midsole, a thicker and clear CR device. Other details include diamond shapes on the outsole, a split at the heel, and a pop of color on the tongue badge. The debut “Mindful Grey” colorway is crafted using premium pig suede leather and mesh for an elevated look and feel. Additional colorways will be released throughout 2022.
