New Balance has announced the release of a new “Olive Leaf” colorway of the 990v3. This marks the final drop from MADE in USA Spring/Summer 2022, the debut collection from Teddy Santis.
About a year after being named creative director of New Balance MADE in USA, Teddy Santis began to tease his first full collection, revealing 16 pairs of 990s known to some simply as “Teddy’s 16.” The first drop from this collection launched in April, with the rest of the colorways releasing over subsequent months.
The “Olive Leaf” 990v3 now wraps up MADE in USA SS22, equipped with a black mesh base, olive green pigskin suede overlays, and hits of purple on the sockliner and N logos. A touch of orange is also thrown in the mix, appearing on the tongue branding, the badge on the heels, and the 990 branding on the lateral heels.
While MADE in USA SS22 is coming to an end, this is only the beginning for Teddy Santis. Expect the rollout for Fall/Winter 2022 to begin sooner than later.
