With New Balance’s gained momentum in the streetwear industry and hefty collabs under their belt, they’ve brought the design experience to you. You can now customize a personal design of the New Balance 992.
The program, dubbed the NB1, allows you to customize just about every aspect of the silhouette, with eighteen customizations in total. Materials include suede, reflectives, mesh, and synthetics, though the freedom of choice depends on what you’re focusing on. Throw in some color (tones also range depending on what you’re customizing) to most of the panels, mesh bases, and sole. Most of the colors are brighter on the palette, so don’t expect many Yeezy-esque earth tones. A digital print 992 is found near the collar, also up to your color choosing.
The program offers some inspiration ideas if you’re experiencing a lack thereof, but most of the features are relatively easy to use. For a retail price of $190 USD, you can flex a one-of-one sneaker of your very own on the New Balance website.
