Bodega x New Balance 997S “Better Days” Release Info

Original Story (08/31/20): Boston-based sneaker boutique Bodega has announced their final collaborative 997S with New Balance. The duo’s previous team-ups on the silhouette, titled “No Days Off” and “No Bad Days,” garnered immense amounts of hype and praise surrounding their respective releases in 2019. While the pair will almost certainly continue to work together on other silhouettes, this appears to be the last of their most famous line of work.

Bodega posted a caption of the all-new sneaker on their Instagram with the caption “‘Better Days’ ahead…” giving us a preview of the release’s title. The model features a sunrise color scheme with a textured orange piece around the ankle and a crisscross-patterned brown and pink heel panel to support the foot. The midfoot features tan overlays with a golden-yellow medial New Balance logo, which is countered by a medial purple/black version of the “N.” The shoe’s toebox comes dressed in light grey durable mesh and a darker, textured suede. Finally, the model is rounded out by a gum outsole and bright green accented ABZORB branding at the heel of the silhouette.

According to Complex’s Brendan Dunne, the Bodega x New Balance 997S “Better Days” will release on September 25th, likely via Bodega’s website. Check a look at various preview pics of the model down below and stay tuned for more details.
